“Because you are alive, everything is possible”

A Return to Wholeness

I value an approach to healing that believes in your innate wholeness, something often forgotten due to daily stresses or life events.

Healing is a path of remembering your wholeness to experience life more fully, have stronger relationships, more safety in the world, and a greater capacity to be present.

My approach moves away from pathologizing your symptoms towards a curious exploration of what has happened to you and how it has shaped who you are today.

Trauma Therapy

Support via Somatic, IFS-informed, and EMDR therapy

Trauma lives in the body, in the parts of you that learned to protect, and in the places where meaning was broken. This is slow, relational work that makes room for gradual transformation in a grounded and warm approach.

Somatic: the body’s sensations and nervous system states where unprocessed material is stored and shows up in the present moment.

Transpersonal: identity beyond the personal self, spiritual development, expanded states of consciousness, the soul's deeper movement.

Modalities I integrate:

Somatic therapy: tracking sensation, posture, and impulse so the nervous system can complete what it couldn't at the time

Internal Family Systems (IFS)/parts work therapy: a compassionate approach that treats the mind as a system of distinct parts, helping you connect with your core, wise Self to understand and heal your protective and wounded parts

EMDR trauma therapy: structured approach to reprocessing traumatic memories to integrate unhealed past events and create empowering meaning making

Mindfulness-based therapy: a supportive approach that teaches you to observe your thoughts and emotions in the present moment without judgment, helping you break automatic stress responses and find inner calm.

Transpersonal therapy: a psychological framework that examines the full spectrum of human experience including altered states of consciousness, spiritual crises, and peak experiences to facilitate psycho-spiritual growth and self-actualization.

Gestalt therapy: working in the present moment to increase self-awareness and leaning into what’s showing up in the therapeutic relationship.

Reiki Healing

Reiki is a form of energy healing that supports the body’s natural ability to heal itself. Reiki means “universal life force energy” and works by relaxing the body to relieve physical, mental, emotional and spiritual blocks that create difficulties in our health. This type of therapy is a way of guiding energy through the body to promote the recipient’s self healing abilities. Reiki is offered through light non-invasive touch with the practitioners’ hands placed in a series of locations on the body.

The lineages I practice are Usui/Holy Fire III Reiki, offering both traditional Usui trainings and a modern approach of Holy Fire III Reiki.

As an Associate Member of the International Center for Reiki Training and teacher of reiki at Red Rocks Community College’s Integrative Health Practitioner program, reiki is a practice to ignite the true self, and spark love within ourselves which ripples out into the world.

The origins of Rooted Light Healing

We all carry light within us - the spark of the soul, our divine nature, the part that longs for something greater. And we are also rooted - embodied, part of earth, and shaped by our histories and ancestors who came before us.

As humans, we bridge the worlds of the human and the spirit.

Rooted Light Healing was named for the practice of honoring both of these truths: the ascending movement towards peak mystical experiences and spiritual wonder. And the descending work of coming home to the body, honoring our place on this earth, and reconnecting with the lineages that shaped us.
